Does Bhairava Sense change anything on my equipment?

No. This is the question people ask first, so here is the answer clearly: Bhairava Sense does not change anything on your equipment. It only asks and reads.

Questions go out, answers come back, and the equipment is left exactly as it was.

Asking and reading

Think of how a person walks up to a display on a cabinet and reads what it says. Bhairava Sense does the same thing, from a laptop, without needing to touch the cabinet. It asks a controller what it has and what its sensors are reading, and it takes note of the answers. That is all.

What it does not do

It does not change settings on controllers or sensors.
It does not switch anything on or off.
It does not require changes to your wiring, your equipment or the software that already runs the site.

Where the names and places are kept

The site tree, the names, the places and the photos belong to Bhairava Sense. They are not written into your equipment. Controllers and sensors carry on exactly as they did before, and carry on doing their job whether or not Bhairava Sense is looking.
