What you need to get started

You do not need special tools or a project team. The list is short.

A Windows 10 laptop

Bhairava Sense runs on a Windows 10 laptop. An ordinary one is enough. It is the laptop that will look for the equipment, so it is the one that needs to be at the site.

On the same network as the equipment

The laptop has to be connected to the same network as the controllers and sensors. If the site's equipment sits on its own separate network, connect the laptop to that network, because equipment that cannot be reached cannot be found.

Someone who knows the site

Bhairava Sense finds the equipment by itself, but you give it meaning. It helps to have the person who knows the site's floors, rooms and cabinets, whether that is you or a colleague. They do not need to be technical.

Things that make it easier

• A rough idea of the layout, such as floors, rooms or workshops, so you can start drawing the tree.
• Photos of cabinets and their surroundings, if you can take them as you go.
• A little time to walk the site if you want to check what you find against what you see.

What you do not need

• An engineer or integrator on site.
• Weeks of set-up.
• Any change to your equipment.
